On my previous trip to Madrid I had come upon this outdoor market quite by accident while wandering (and being slightly lost). This time, we were there on purpose, waiting for a man named Santiago, who would teach us about traditional Flamenco. While waiting on the corner, I took a number of photographs of the nearby stands, the colors are amazing in themselves, but I wanted a more dynamic picture. While it isn’t perfect by any means, I would have preferred to not have him blocking the F and part of the R; to me, the intentness in his expression as he makes his way down the street outweighs the compositional concern.
