The hallways of Palacio Real captured my imagination. This photograph, created using a specialty selective focus lens, was taken from nearly the same location as “Obscured by Years”. While the people in this photograph are tourists, following a set path through the palace, it’s easy to imagine kings and queens of days gone by passing these same windows. By using the selective focus lens, I was able to remove cues to their context in time, and transport them into history.
