Everyone loves a dog picture, and I’m no different. I took a number of photos of cats and dogs while in Spain, but this one I truly love. We came across the scene while strolling in the Chueca area after having a light dinner at Mercado de San Antón. The Retriever, sitting patiently in the doorway to the small flower shop while his owner had a long conversation with the woman inside. I love capturing little pieces of life, and the fading light and warm colors seemed to invite me in.
