On my way to Iglesia de la Vera Cruz from the Alcázar, I walked the Paseo de Erasma, a recreational trail that follows the river. One of my favorite photos of the trip, this captures the bridge that carries Paseo Santo Domingo de Guzmán over the path in a dreaminess caused by the low overcast skies, the relative warmth of the earth, and the coolness of the spray from a short drop in the river. To me, this image captures the mystery and allure of the Castilla y León region of Spain.
