The final photograph from Plaza Mayor was a happy accident. I had just bought a hat from this store, La Favorita, which is one of the many shops and restaurants that line the edge of the plaza. I photograph, as documentary, each place that I eat at, or make a purchase. Right after I shot the store, this man walked into the frame and stopped at the window, perusing the many colors and styles of hats. His asymmetry in an otherwise symmetrical appearing window, really caught my attention. I chose black and white for the image to prevent the colors from distracting from that illusion.
