Toledo Tiles
Photographed 8 March 2018
Toledo
8”X8” framed to 11”X14”
$80
Like "Toledo Tiles II", this photograph captures a terracotta roof in Toledo, shot from the alcázar. This one shows less of the detail, and more of the careful placement required to make it weather-proof. The small window intrigued me. Is it for ventilation? Additional light from above? Is there a small room beneath the eaves? Part of the joy of photography is the mystery behind what I shoot, and this one leaves so many questions.
